SAFED - Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving (Driver CPC)

Duration: 1 Day (7 hours Driver CPC)

Entry Requirements:

Candidates must hold any of the below licences:

C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D

Objectives:

To educate drivers of LGVs in the need for and the ways of obtaining maximum fuel efficiency.

Content:

• Need for fuel economy
• Driver's disciplines
• Routing of vehicles
• Need for regular maintenance
• Practical driving assessments
• Post driving observation and critique

This course is presented on a 2:1 trainee/instructor ratio, and can be conducted on Wttl's vehicles or your own if they are fitted with a suitable fuel monitoring device.
